Joe Flanigan reached Sweden on Thursday and started tweeting again:
Post updated on 8 April
30 March, 2:02 PM: Remember when the Vikings sacked Dublin?…neither do I, but in the name of the Irish I…I will….wow, that Aquavit is powerful.
We will continue to update this post with Joe’s tweets from Göteborg (hopefully), and with info provided by congoers.
So far, we are aware of the following fans being in Sweden for the convention: mjulok, @anyanka_eg, @domdomjohnshep, @MajorBerry and @sorokaste. Also @MarinuDesu, @alberta77, @LadyMBJ, @Shakefister, @_maria_martina.
Bits shared on twitter, on Saturday by Elly (anyanka_eg):
I told Joe he was getting like Richard Dean Anderson as he couldn’t remember doing an interview. He said RDA was much worse #Swecon
Went up for my photo with Joe and he said ‘hello, love’. Failed at the British accent, but still very sweet. #Swecon
He was late for photos. His handler, who is a marvellous woman, admitted getting him anywhere is a bit like trying to herd cats #Swecon
Dialogue shared on Saturday by @_maria_martina:
So I’ve met Joe! We talked about #AT6 and he was like “Does Amanda have her OWN cons?!?”
From the little vid shared on Sunday over twitter by @sorokaste, we learn Sweden is Joe’s favourite country, as it has lemon trees everywhere, something David Hewlett would undoubtedly enjoy.
Sweden is my favourite country, David, and I’m sorry you didn’t get invited to Sweden. I’ve been invited THREE times. I’m trying desperately to get them excited enough for you to get invited here, but it’s tough. Maybe you can make it; cold nights, warm women, lots of lemons, lemon trees everywhere.

Update 8 April 2012
A new video, offering us a brief, but general panorama of the convention, was found by @thunksisters, thx for sharing! We get to hear Joe talking to fans, and we can only speculate that starting with min 1:40 he speaks about his new project, the voice over for the AO4 video game:
I’ve never done one of these. It could take all year. They’ve signed me and they said they’d probably use me two to three times per month in the course of six to eight months. Could be more, could be less.
While mentioning the other things he has in the pipeline, he also covers Metal Hurlant:
It’s pretty tough stuff. It’s like Blade Runner, but even darker.
